We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Manager to oversee our financial transactions and lead a team of skilled clerks. In this role, you will drive efficiency in our payables and receivables functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong vendor and client relationships. In addition, you will coach, mentor and Lead your team on a day-to-day basis
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership and people management skills—you know how to motivate, develop, and support a team.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze financial data, optimize cash flow, and drive process improvements.
- Experience with Epicor and Salesforce is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily leadership, supervision, and coaching to a team of approximately 12 AP/AR clerks, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Oversee the Accounts Receivable function, including:
- Managing collections and cash posting.
- Processing and posting credit card transactions.
- Handling UCC terminations.
- Overseeing parts and service invoicing and mailings.
Oversee the Accounts Payable function, including:
- Posting invoices, including job postings.
- Reporting outstanding expenses to controllers.
- Managing check runs and statement reconciliations.
Support office management needs, including overseeing supplies, coordinating with visitors, and assisting with company meetings.
Lead bi-weekly collections meetings with territory teams to monitor outstanding balances and strategize improvements.
Develop, implement, and update policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance within the AP/AR processes.
Conduct cash reconciliation, forecasting, and reporting to support financial decision-making.
Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong financial controls.
