You will instill a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization with a standardized approach towards problem-solving (tools and methods) and daily continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Works with the business leaders to identify and document process gaps to generate continuous improvement plans, which will be facilitated by business teams.
- Facilitates enterprise-level Kaizen events for processes that have a cross-functional impact on eliminating waste, reducing cycle time, and improving the business.
- Develops and implements a training strategy that will optimize lean processes, practices, policies, standards, and metrics that meet or exceed company business objectives.
- Works cross-functionally with the business leaders of all facilities to identify organizational needs. Train, and coach employees on lean and continuous improvement methods.
- Plans and executes the success of Hoshin Kanri, policy deployment projects, and Kaizen workshops through relentless follow-up.

Qualifications
- Multi-site manufacturing experience with 7 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment. 10 years of experience in implementing Lean or Lean Sigma tools and concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
- Proven leadership experience, including project management and change leadership.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to drive action.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC).
- Must have proven expertise in teaching and implementing Continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Sigma principles and tools
- Proficiency in Change Management methodologies to overcome people's resistance to change.
- Strong working knowledge and experience in 5S, total productive maintenance, single-minute exchange of die, 8D, and 5 why problem-solving techniques.\
- Strong working knowledge in line balancing and standard work, waste identification and elimination, toll-gated new product development processes, and material pull systems.
- Strong working knowledge in statistical process control, error proofing, value stream mapping, visual management techniques, and failure mode and effects analysis.
