Summary
Drives the sales process with existing and prospective customers within an assigned territory. Collaborates with the customer’s engineering team to specify, qualify, and develop manufacturing processes for specialty chemical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Determines and presents the customer with potential engineered solutions for customer applications, coordinates application testing with the customer
- Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel)
- Partners with key stakeholders from internal departments, customers and vendors to ensure that the customers’ needs are being addressed
- Maintains and utilizes customer data via Dynamics 365
- Participates in periodic meetings to maintain technical knowledge of specialty chemical solutions and effectively utilizes technology to efficiently manage their territory.

Qualifications
- 3 years of industrial B2B sales experience, specialty chemical market preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree required, within a technical or business-related field preferred
- Holds integrity paramount to all, followed closely by customer service, quality, collaboration, teamwork, drive, compliance, hard work, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement
- Expert communication skills, including up, down, across, within and outside the organization
- Ability to build strong internal relationships inside the company, together with cultivating an external network outside the company
- Commitment to personal growth and development
