Overview
The Police Officer plays a vital role in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws within the community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to serving and protecting the public while upholding the law with integrity and professionalism. Officers will engage in various activities, including patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, and conducting investigations.

Duties

  • Patrol designated areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
  • Respond promptly to calls for service and emergencies.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, accidents, and crimes.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting events, actions taken, and evidence collected.
  • Enforce traffic laws and regulations; issue citations as necessary.
  • Engage with community members to promote safety and build trust.
  • Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activities.
  • Provide assistance in animal handling situations when necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance law enforcement skills, including CPR certification and leadership development.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous law enforcement is preferred. A certificate in military training can be an advantage. Strong leadership skills, the ability to drive effectively under various conditions, and proficiency in animal handling are also beneficial for this role.

This position requires a commitment to professional development and continuous learning within the field of law enforcement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
