Our team is committed to advancing technology solutions, and we are currently seeking a Scrum Master to join us in supporting the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in enhancing their technology and operations.
The Scrum Master will facilitate agile practices for the development and enhancement of the CBP Translate application. This application is designed to break down language barriers between CBP officers and travelers, supporting over 100 languages and improving communication efficiency during interviews. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in guiding the team through Scrum ceremonies, fostering collaboration, and ensuring project milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews).
- Develop and maintain Scrum artifacts (e.g., product backlog, sprint backlog, burndown charts).
- Coach the Scrum team in agile best practices and methodologies.
- Remove obstacles, blockers, and distractions impacting team performance and goal completion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure alignment between business and mission needs by accurately reflecting requirements in the project backlog and application release records.
- Support continuous improvement of the team's processes and help streamline communication and collaboration.
