In an exciting and challenging fast-paced environment, our Electronics Technicians installs electronics/electrical systems and ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.
What You’ll Do:
- Installs electronic/electrical systems.
- Ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Calibrates all electronic/electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of functionality and troubleshooting of Load Cells
- Understand PLC controls and programing
- Utilize the CMMS System to develop PM schedules and Job Plans
- Must be able to read and understand drawings and schematics
- Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.
- Must have ability and desire to work with others.
- Meets attendance requirements.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
What You’ll Need:
- Commitment to safety
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. required.
- Post-secondary education degree in electronics, or equivalent, preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems is preferred..
- Previous maintenance experience in a steelmaking environment preferred.
- Ability to pass written electronics exam.
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn
