About this Internship
Ellwood Group, Inc. has a temporary, part-time opening for an IT Intern. This position will report to the Support Technician Manager. This position will be located in the EGI Corporate IT Offices in New Castle, PA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaboration with end users and colleagues for new software applications.
- Working with end users on program-related problems/issues, bug fixes, and enhancements to existing software applications.
- Install and support IT systems including PC's, printers, and other IT equipment,
- Trouble shooting and configuration of network,
- Help Desk support with end users on software related issues.
- Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company.
- Meet attendance requirements; and
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong programming skills; familiarity with Infor Syteline, SQL Server, Visual Basic, c#;
- Strong knowledge and understanding of relational database design and techniques;
- Ability to work independently (self-directed) and with a team;
- Detailed oriented;
- Knowledge of various software Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong writing skills; and
- Good human relations and communication skills.
