Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Heat Treat Operator I to join our team at ELLWOOD National Forge. The successful candidate will have experience in operating heat treatment equipment and possess strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of skilled duties in hot process operations, required in the production of steel products.
- Operate overhead cranes including cab, radio and/or pendulant controls less than 40' and over 40' in elevation.
- Operate industrial vehicles and equipment including mobile boom cranes.
Requirements
- Performs all work in accordance with plant safety rules.
- Maintains highest quality standards in the execution of assigned work.
- Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.
