Safety & Compliance:
Education & Experience:
- Adhere to OSHA, EPA, and ASME standards for boiler operation, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure boiler room equipment meets industry standards.
- Respond to alarms and emergency shutdowns, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the facility’s continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Monitor fuel consumption, steam usage, and efficiency metrics, recommending improvements when necessary.
- Assist in energy conservation initiatives by optimizing boiler efficiency and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless steam supply for forging processes.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or boiler operator certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers in an industrial or manufacturing setting (forging industry experience is a plus).
- State or local boiler operator license (if required).
- Strong understanding of boiler systems, steam generation, and water treatment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Basic mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to boiler operation, hazardous materials, and confined spaces.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
