Elm & Iron is a locally owned furniture & home goods retailer based in Grandview, OH. We opened our first brick & mortar location in 2012 in Clintonville. Since then, we have grown to two brick & mortar locations, and an extensive e-commerce store!

We are looking for a responsible & energetic store manager to join our growing team. An ideal candidate would have a passion for design & unique decor with a positive working attitude. They will constantly strive to meet sales goals identified by upper management while maintaining store administration & mentoring staff.

Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to sales growth through mentoring & motivating sales staff
- Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Cultivate & maintain relationships with repeat customers & trade professionals
- Train sales staff effectively utilizing brand literature & resources to stay up to date on latest trends, releases & product knowledge
- Ensure that the sales floor is consistently restocked, clean & maintained based on brand visual merchandising standards
- Respond to customer & staff issues or concerns in a calm, professional manner
- Complete store administration & ensure compliance with policies & procedures
- Report on customer needs, buying trends, sales data, financial records, etc
- Perform regular performance reviews with staff to assess training needs & employee growth
- Create schedule to ensure store is adequately staffed based on historical sales data & staff availability
- Additional administrative duties as needed

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years management experience
Flexible schedule with weekend availability
Ability to lift 30-50lbs with the ability to team lift heavier items
