Job Title: Laundry Aide/Housekeeping
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Laundry Aide, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and clothing are cleaned and properly stored. You will also be responsible for helping the housekeeping team with cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing and making sure that proper infection protocols are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and wash all linens, towels, and clothing according to color, fabric, and type
- Operate washing and drying machines, as well as ironing equipment
- Fold and store all clean linens, towels, and clothing in designated areas
- Maintain inventory of all linens, towels, and clothing and report any shortages or damages to the supervisor
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions to the supervisor
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling laundry chemicals and equipment as well as housekeeping tasks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in laundry services preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of laundry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

1 Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
