Job Title: Medication Technician and Direct Care Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician and Direct Care Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to individuals in a healthcare setting, ensuring their medication needs are met while also offering direct care and assistance with daily living activities.
Schedules are 7a-7p or 7p-7a both shifts work 2 days a week and every other weekend and every other holiday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to patients as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and document patients' responses to medications and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and medication administration in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in training and continuing education to stay current with best practices in medication management and direct care.

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have CNA certification or High School Diploma and Direct Care Worker Certificate
- Certification as a Medication Technician through the State of Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in a direct care role preferred.
- Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
