ELMis seeking a Lead Locate Technician for the Butte, Montana area. This is aUnion position, and the hourly rate is DOQ. This person will work alongside theArea Manager as well as performing locates and utility-related tasks. They willreport to the Area Manager.

Yourspecific duties in this role will include, but not limited to :
Workingindependently outdoors utilizing your company-provided vehicle as your mobileoffice, you will work a route of locate requests to be completed each day.
Completeall necessary digital documentation and paperwork
Workperiodic overtime and weekend on-call rotation may be requested
Assistin any and all responsibilities assigned by the Area Manager including problemsolving solutions, coordinating efforts, and reporting results
Someduties may require approval prior to creation
IssuingDisciplinary Action Notices, Coaching Sessions and directing workflow
Willbe responsible for on-call in the absence and / or alternating periods of time ordiscretion of the Area Manager
Workloadand seasonality will determine the ratio of bargaining unit production locatingand non-production management-oriented activities but either will constitute upto 100% at any given time.
Specificqualifications for the position include :
Atleast 18 years of age
HighSchool Diploma or GED
Validdriver's license in good standing
Abilityto pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Please note : This is aSafety-Sensitive DOT position that must comply with all Federal Department ofTransportation regulations. The use of Marijuana remains a drug listed inSchedule III of the Controlled Substances Act, and the use of marijuana (medicalor recreational) is prohibited
