We have an excellent opportunity for a SMT In-Process Quality Control professional to join our team in our Fremont, CA location. This person will report to the Manufacturing Manager of Backplanes.
As an SMT In-Process Quality Control professional, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the surface mount assembly line.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow documentation and assembly drawings and perform operations as describe
- Perform quality self-inspection of all completed work
- Download assembly and re-flow programs and set-up equipment for operation
- Operate and maintain the surface mount assembly equipment including the solder printer, pic-n-place machine and reflow oven
Requirements
- Experience with automated surface mount assembly equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and assemble backplanes per Elma documentation
- Ability to recognize documentation and manufacturing discrepancies
- Knowledge of standard automated assembly practices and procedures
- Ability to communicate well with managers and co-workers
- Ability to read and/or work from mechanical drawings with detailed instructions
- Requires minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Requires minimum 1-3 years of related experience
Target Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 hourly, dependent upon experience
