Job Overview:
The Elma School District is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Transportation Co-Op Maintenance Technician. This position will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on district vehicles, as well as assisting with the coordination of transportation services.
Key Responsibilities: As a Transportation Co-Op Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all district vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner;
- Assisting with the coordination of transportation services, including scheduling and dispatching drivers;
- Providing support to the Director of Transportation and other staff members as needed;
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- A valid Washington State driver's license with a CDL endorsement;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry or an associate's degree in automotive technology or a bachelor's degree in automotive engineering technology;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
