Process Engineer Position
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Elmet Technologies LLC.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to develop, monitor and improve manufacturing processes in our Coldwater Blending, Isostatic Pressing and High Temperature Sintering production areas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee manufacturing processes for various product lines, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Evaluate new processes, manufacturing methods and equipment to enhance process capabilities, material yields, and develop new products.
- Provide technical support to customers, assisting with product/process requirements or troubleshooting existing materials or applications.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Assurance groups to resolve nonconforming material issues, customer complaints, and implement corrective/preventative measures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in metals manufacturing, preferably in a similar or related environment.
- Skill sets include:
- SPC Trained
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
