We have an exciting full-time job opportunity as ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT. This is an ideal position for someone who is self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented. To be successful in this role, candidates need to be proficient in Office applications including Word and Excel.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Administrative Assistant performs general administrative office functions, provides clerical support and customer assistance, compiles data, develops reports, and delivers interoffice mail to various District facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as backup recording secretary for board meetings and assist in the coordination of board meeting
- Develop and maintain effective internal and external oral, written, and electronic communications including responding to phone calls, emails, comments and suggestions on a timely manner.
- Develop written correspondence, listings, reports, and mail merge documents using word processing and spreadsheet software
- Review written material for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in development of documents for capital planning and annual budget
- Using personal vehicle, collect and distribute interoffice mail and deliver to local area
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Associate's degree and 3 years of general office experience
- Proficiency in computer word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
- 45 WPM typing speed
- Proven problem-solving, communication, organizational and customer service skills
WHEN YOU’LL WORK:
Work week is Monday – Friday and hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm.

- This position is classified under Pay Grade 3, with a salary range of $48,929 to $68,502. For internal equity and budgetary considerations, the anticipated starting pay for this role is set at $48,929.
