We have an exciting part-time job opportunity as Aquatics Coordinator - Programming! This position would coordinate the District's Swim Lesson Program.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As Aquatics Coordinator - Programming, you'll be responsible for performing general administrative office functions and provide clerical support and customer assistance for aquatics. Additional responsibilities include:
- Train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate staff.
- Maintain Starfish Instructor Certifciation
- Provide professional clerical support.
- Ensure that each participant is in the proper level of class and that each participant is evaluated at the end of the lesson period.
- Assist admissions staff with attendance for swim lesson programs.
- Observe and evaluate programs and swim instructors.
- Coordinate and lead in-service trainings.
- Confirm bi-weekly payroll information is accurate in payroll software.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to complete Starguard Lifeguard Instructor course.
- Ability to complete Starfish Instructor Certification.
- Knowledge of computer word-processing and spreadsheet applications and internet search.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
WHEN YOU’LL WORK: About 30-hours per week, may work more hours on some weeks depending on needs during the summer.

- The anticipated starting pay for this position is $23/hour.
- This position falls under Pay Grade B with a pay range of $16.00 - $38.50.
