We have an exciting part-time job opportunity as GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR at Courts Plus our fitness center. We are looking for a Group Exercise Instructor with experience teaching any of the following: BARRE, Pilates, Spin, Strength training and/or HIIT classes. This is a great position for someone who is upbeat, positive, & brings their "A"-Game to every class they teach!
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As Group Exercise Instructor you'll instruct various group exercise classes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Plan and instruct group exercise classes including aerobics, aquatics and yoga, current with industry
standards and in accordance with professional fitness certifying organization. - Remain knowledgeable of class format and follow safety guidelines.
- Organize classes including taking attendance.
- Monitor class attendance to determine class continuations or cancellations.
- Distribute promotional materials as provided.
- Present new program ideas to Supervisor.
- Perform upkeep and maintenance of pool area and equipment and/or group exercise studio and
equipment, if applicable. - Teach a minimum of three different types of class formats.
- Be available to teach a minimum of three hours per week including subbing for other instructors.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High school graduate or equivalent, with some college in health-related field preferred and 1-3 years
of experience. - Current certification through appropriate fitness organization, such as AEA, ACSM, NASM, ACE or
AFAA. - Trained in a minimum of three different class formats

Schedule depends on group exercise schedule.

The anticipated pay may range between $25-30/hour depending on experience. This position falls under Pay Grade A with a pay range of $21.00 - $41.00.
