We have an exciting part-time job opportunity for an experienced Massage Therapist to join our team at Courts Plus! We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of various massage techniques and experience in health club setting.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As Massage Therapist, you'll provide therapeutic and relaxation massages to Courts Plus members and guest within the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) guidelines. Responsibilities include but not limited:
- Provide individualized bodywork treatments that meet clients’ needs and expectations within AMTA guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of client’s history.
- Participate in facility special events.
- Assist with purchase recommendations and maintenance of equipment.
- Obtain and document the basic medical history for a client, assessed any problems or conditions, and suggest appropriate therapy based on current health of client.
- Utilize “SOAP” notation after each massage appointment and maintain client files.
- Ensure client satisfaction through quality of customer service including, welcoming the client when they arrive for their appointment and maintaining consistent communication with the client during massage appointment.
- Maintain massage room appearance and cleanliness.
- Communicate with the service desk to make sure accurate appointment book and message keeping.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the facilities policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Graduate of AMTA certified school with at least 500 hours of classroom time.
- Licensed to perform massage by the State of Illinois
- 1-3 years of experience.
WHEN YOU’LL WORK: Weeknights and Sundays

The anticipated starting pay for this position is $20.5-40.50/hour depending on qualifications.
- This position falls under Pay Grade A with a pay range of $21.00 - $41.00.
