What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Camp Instructor position at Elmhurst Park District?

We have an exciting seasonal job opportunity as a SPORTS CAMP INSTRUCTOR for the Summer 2025 season!
WHAT YOU’LL DO: You'll play a key role in assisting in instructing sports camp participants of ages 5-10 on various sports including soccer, baseball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, lacrosse, capture the flag, and wiffle ball.
- Pre-camp organization including taking attendance and set-up
- Instruct and supervise sports camp participants
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Some high school education with general knowledge of activity being instructed.
- Must be at least 15 years of age by May 16, 2025.
WHEN YOU’LL WORK:
- Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm
WHAT YOU’LL GET:
- The anticipated starting pay for this is $15/hour.
- This position falls under Pay Grade E with a pay range of $15.00 - $20.00.
