Responsibilities as Pharmacy Quality Coordinator:
Oversee reconciliation of new medications and physician orders.
Coordinate medication administration between providers and the clinical team.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of the pharmacy provider’s work.
Develop and implement pharmacy-related quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Report directly to the governing body on medication safety and quality outcomes.
Qualifications of Pharmacy Quality Coordinator:
Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required
Licensed Pharmacist in state.
3 years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term or post-acute care.
Strong knowledge of medication safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Experience in quality assurance and process improvement.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
