As an Assistant Construction Scheduler at Elmington Construction you will work closely with preconstruction, project management, field management, and our in-house scheduling team, as well as with subcontractors and owners' representatives, to aid in the creation and management of schedules for the company projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the development of detailed project schedules along with project teams' input
- Work with project teams and leadership to set project goals and analyze the status of the project
- Assist in schedule analysis to determine duration and logic issues
- Work with project teams to update schedules on a bi-weekly basis and report all findings to project teams and leadership
- Perform impact analysis for potential delays and changes
- Report overall progress for each project to leadership
- Visit projects for onsite review of progress
- Performs associated document distribution
- Identify ways to integrate with Procore and / or present to subcontractors in other formats to aid in subcontractor understanding
- Performs additional duties as assigned
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- A Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years related construction experience
- Basic understanding of critical path method of scheduling
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software preferred
- Ability to conduct constructability reviews for varying construction method/techniques during design or construction
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Overnight Travel will be required for monthly jobsite visits.
