POSITION SUMMARY

Elmington Construction is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Data Analytics to lead our data-driven initiatives and guide our analytics strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, business intelligence, and analytics, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business outcomes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- - Develop and execute the company's data strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- - Create a plan, as needed, once initial proof of concept for team development including managing a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality analytics solutions across the company.
- - Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data systems and infrastructure.
- - Prepare reporting and data dashboards for Executive and leadership team members upon request.
- - Monitor data trends and alert leadership of critical threats and opportunities. Make recommendations to leadership based on reporting, helping to analyze and interpret critical data to mitigate issues and prepare proactively.
- - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- - Work alongside company IT, financial, operations, HR and scheduling teams to compile data across a variety of company systems and data sources
- - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- - Present insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- - Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and technology.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- - Proven experience 5 years in a similar role, with a strong background in data management and analytics.
- - Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- - Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels.
- - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- - Experience in Construction is a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
