POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sr. Director of IT at Elmington, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our essential IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation across all systems. You will lead projects and solutions within broader business initiatives for all of the Elmington family of companies, handling critical IT tinitiatives and systems administration. Your responsibilities will also include implementing emerging technologies, managing global vendor contracts and partnerships, and leadership of the team providing technical support to employees in partnership with stakeholders across our lines of business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the achievement of departmental goals and opportunities, ensuring efficient operations of the quality service
- Meet the needs of various stakeholders in all Elmington lines of business to drive IT and technology support beyond the help deak
- Ensure seamless integration of software and technology, to meet business needs, and ensure projects with technology components are delivered on time
- Develop and manage relationships with global vendors and partners according to identified areas for improvement and to service company wide specific technology needs
- Ensure IT services stay within developed budget constraints, managing budget and expenses
- Design IT training for employees on software and hardware usage, troubleshoot issues, and offer technical support as needed as a part of overall employee onboarding
- Lead all IT audits, ensuring that policies and procedures reflect Elmington's focus on excellence
- Develop nand examine key IT policies, procedures, and processes to relieve pain points
- Develop strategic opportunities for advanced IT partnerships across the organization, including to ensure overall compliance to global Elmington initiatives including but not limited to: cybersecurity, audit requirements, disaster recovery plans, software/ hardware implementation
- Manage the partnership with the global MSP to ensure accuracy and timely and accurate billing and ensure the best pricing
- Construct, troubleshoot, and implement plans to ensure network continuity during problems
- Lead technology onboarding globally ensuring every employee can always do their best work
- Work with the team to manage IT access both for employee onboarding, but also terminations, and investigations in collaboration with the global HR team
- Ensure systems, software, processes, and policies are aligned to the business goals, and adaptable to the changing landscape of technology and its advancements, while staying up to date on latest innovations to improve business outcomes
- All other duties as assigned
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
- 10 or more years of experience in IT leadership, 15- 20 years working in the IT field
- Expererience coaching and mentoring the development of IT / Technology Teams
- Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
- Experience managing in a fast paced, high volume environment. Preffered experience with multiple lines of business
- Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing and casting vision for an IT department
- Strong creative, critical, and analytical thinking to present proactive recommendations and solutions

- Travel up to 10% of the time.
