Front of House Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front of House Team Member to join our pastry shop and café. As the face of our bakery, you will play a key role in providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests while efficiently handling orders, preparing beverages, and maintaining a clean and inviting space. The ideal candidate is passionate about great food and coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide exceptional service with a positive attitude.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to our café standards.
• Assist in plating and packaging pastries, sandwiches, and other menu items for dine-in and takeout.
• Operate the cash register, process payments accurately, and handle cash responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and beverage station.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and product availability.
• Restock bakery displays, beverage stations, and supplies as needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and food handling guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café, bakery, or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
• Enthusiasm for pastries, coffee, and delivering a great customer experience.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and operating a cash register.
• Possibilities to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM

• Availability: Must be punctual and reliable for early morning shifts.
• Weekends & Holidays: Not required for this position, but flexibility for occasional coverage is a plus.
