General overview :
eLoghomes, a leading log home kit manufacturer in the US, is seeking an Architectural Designer with residential construction experience. The company and position is based in Battleboro, NC (Nash County). The role requires a minimum 3 years of experience in residential home design and 3D modeling, expertise in AutoCAD, and will support the design process and customization of log home packages shipped nationally to our customers. The position reports to the Director of Product Management & Design.
Key responsibilities :
- Completion of preliminary sets, final construction documents, and other related documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize the project management technology of the company.
- Work across the organization to coordinate designs according to the needs of the customer.
- Interact with 3rd party structural engineering firms as necessary.
Qualifications :
Depending on the candidate’s skills and experience, a hybrid position is a possibility after 90 days.
