The HR Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of human resources and office administration. This role ensures the efficient execution of HR functions, including payroll processing, recruitment, benefits administration, employee onboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. Additionally, the HR / Office Manager collaborates with other departments to provide effective HR support, aligning with the organization’s goals and objectives.
In the capacity of Office Manager, this role ensures smooth administrative operations, including travel coordination, procurement of supplies and equipment, file management, and general office support.
Key Responsibilities :
Human Resources Responsibilities :
Manage the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment assessments.
Prepare and process employment-related documents, including new hire paperwork, pay adjustments, and status changes.
Maintain and update employee records, recruitment files, organizational charts, and confidential HR documentation.
Handle sensitive HR matters, including employee relations and organizational changes, while ensuring confidentiality.
Assist employees and managers with HR policies, leave management, and benefits administration.
Conduct research and compile data for HR reports and statistical analysis.
Organize training programs and recommend resources as needed.
Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
Ensure compliance with pre-employment screenings such as background checks and drug testing.
Maintain accurate records of employee benefits, salary adjustments, and performance evaluations.
Support the administration of payroll, HRIS updates, and employee directory maintenance.
Assist with performance appraisal tracking and salary budget planning.
Office Management Responsibilities :
Oversee administrative functions to ensure efficient office operations.
Coordinate travel arrangements, procurement of office supplies, and equipment inventory management.
Maintain organized record-keeping systems and ensure compliance with document retention policies.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and processing reports.
Serve as a backup for receptionist and administrative assistant duties as needed.
