We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to join our team as Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). As a member of our senior staff, you will play a central role in shaping and implementing effective human resource strategies that align with the university's goals and foster a positive work culture.
You will oversee a team of 23 human resources professionals serving approximately 1,600 faculty and staff members. Your responsibilities will include providing direction and strategy on key areas such as talent acquisition and management, employee relations and engagement, organization and professional development, compensation and benefits administration, compliance and risk management, and human resources technology.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong track record of developing and implementing innovative HR strategies and initiatives. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and a reputation for being both service- and employee-centered. A bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree and prior experience in higher education strongly preferred.
