- Maintain Cleanliness of Campus. Maintain all outside standing trash cans that are located on campus. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Short list of cleaning duties are as follows: Remove all trash from assigned buildings and exterior trash cans. Empty cigarette urns that are located on campus. Periodically clean all trash containers and return to their designated place. Pick up trash and rubbish on grounds that are in assigned areas. Assist and perform other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, snow and ice removal as required.
- Driving a Vehicle - Drive Cushman trucks on campus in a safe manner to collect trash in designated areas. Must be able to back up and dump trash into dumpsters
- Cleaning of Equipment - Clear trash or items in vehicles at end of every shift.
- Reporting Maintenance Issues Found on Campus. Notify the proper channels with repairs needed that are observed throughout campus. Report vehicle problems to shift supervisor.
- Building Safety and Security. Use of wet floor signs and other safety signs when appropriate
- Annual Training - Perform other duties deemed necessary by the shift supervisor. Attend and utilize information provided by yearly training
