We are seeking numerous skilled Litho, Web Press Operators for our new, state of the art, plant under construction in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Our plant will run 7 days a week and operations will start in November 2024.
The Lithographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up and preparing the press correctly to run jobs, for maintaining smooth operation of the press during runtime and to ensure quality products. The ideal candidate must have a related experience in Lithographic press operating including the ability to troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to maintain high-quality production. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- High School Diploma or GED combined with experience and knowledge in litho printing (7 colors).
- Ability to learn printing software associated with presses.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to distinguish color nuances.
- Strong mechanical aptitudes.
- Must be available to work on 12 hours shifts covering 7 days (1 weekend every second week).
- Must have a Health and Safety mindset and know about LOTO, chemicals / hazardous products handling, etc.
- Good reading and communication skills.
- Operates Litho press to produce printed cartons for food related packaging products according to specifications;
- Manage paper roll preparation, run paper through the press and make adjustments;
- Start press and perform trial runs to validate accuracy of machine setups;
- Operate the press, monitor numerous controls, make adjustments (colors set up, ink, speed,etc);
- Make tooling adjustments and performs change over on the press;
- Produce lithographic plates as necessary;
- Observe and monitor numerous controls points to ensure efficient process and to detect any malfunction or deviation;
- Take actions to troubleshoot and solve problems during operation;
- Monitor quality of products and take actions to prevent deviation from appropriate standards;
- Keep the press and press area clean;
- Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) of the press and assist mechanic during maintenance;
- Work in accordance with Safety, HACCP and SQF requirements.
Salary : $26 - $30
