In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full-time People Specialist to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN.

A People Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruiting, onboarding, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings, onboarding, orientation, etc.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, health, retirement, medical leave etc.
  • Enter, maintain, and ensure proper processing of timekeeping and payroll
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in the Human resources information system (HRIS)
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances, and mediating conflicts to promote a respectful work environment
  • Ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness in recommended solutions
  • Promote a positive corporate culture through close collaboration with managers and teams
  • Analyze and optimize HR data to facilitate data-driven decision making, enabling businesses to understand their performance, identify trends, and make informed choices to improve operations and achieve goals
  • Support change management processes and promote organizational agility
  • Ensure company policies and practices are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience

  • Two years of HR experience including recruitment and hiring experience preferred

Skills

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems and payroll system, ADP
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
