Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings, onboarding, orientation, etc.
- Administer employee benefits programs, health, retirement, medical leave etc.
- Enter, maintain, and ensure proper processing of timekeeping and payroll
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in the Human resources information system (HRIS)
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
- Address employee concerns and grievances, and mediating conflicts to promote a respectful work environment
- Ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness in recommended solutions
- Promote a positive corporate culture through close collaboration with managers and teams
- Analyze and optimize HR data to facilitate data-driven decision making, enabling businesses to understand their performance, identify trends, and make informed choices to improve operations and achieve goals
- Support change management processes and promote organizational agility
- Ensure company policies and practices are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Two years of HR experience including recruitment and hiring experience preferred
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and related software
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems and payroll system, ADP
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
