Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and dependable individual to join our team as a Night Shift Host/Server for our mobile food cart, serving delicious elotes. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and enjoys creating a memorable experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, enjoy interacting with customers, and be committed to upholding the high standards of our food.

As a Host/Server, you'll be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, preparing fresh elotes right before their eyes, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times. Your ability to communicate effectively with guests will play a key role in providing smooth, efficient service. Additionally, you'll help maintain a clean and organized cart, ensuring food is served quickly and to the highest quality standards.

This position starts at $11 per hour. Once you transition to full-time status, you’ll have the opportunity to earn tips, which can bring your total earnings up to $23 per hour or more, depending on customer generosity.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Prepare and serve fresh elotes in front of customers, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Accurately take and process customer orders.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe throughout your shift.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns quickly and professionally.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in cold and hot conditions outside depending on weather
• Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
• A passion for food and delivering excellent service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work night shifts and weekends.
