The Els for Autism Foundation based in Jupiter Florida, impacts the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families daily. The global mission of Els for Autism is to transform the lives of people with autism and those who care for them through lifetime services and collaborative partnerships.
This position plays a key role in advancing global mission of Els for Autism by managing the organization's visual identity and supporting overall marketing efforts. This position is responsible for designing high-quality marketing materials, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms, and engaging with audiences through creative content.
This role requires strong graphic design skills, attention to detail, excellent time and project management abilities, and a creative mindset for content creation. Writing experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Design marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, booklets, manuals, social media graphics, event materials, digital assets, and more.
Maintain brand consistency across all designs and communications.
Develop visual content for internal and external campaigns.
Collaborate with various departments to create materials that support programs, fundraising initiatives, and events.
Assist in updating and maintaining the organization's website with graphics and content.
Design and distribute newsletters (e.g., The AWEtism Report, The Game Changer, etc.).
Create and send email campaigns via Constant Contact.
Review and analyze email performance metrics for improvement.
Design promotional materials, including print and digital assets.
Develop branded marketing materials for internal and external use.
Draft and distribute press releases.
Assist with branding and messaging for promotional campaigns.
Provide marketing and graphic design support for fundraising and community events.
Capture photos and videos for promotional use.
Represent the organization at community events.
Assist with event-related social media coverage, signage, and promotions.
Coordinate media outreach efforts.
Support the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in graphic design and marketing
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and WordPress.
Strong working knowledge of social media platforms.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Constant Contact.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
General understanding of autism spectrum disorder.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
