Job Title : Sales Executive – Non-Asset FTL Truck Brokerage

Locations : San Francisco, CA

Job Summary :

We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic Sales Executives to join our growing team in key markets across the United States. As a Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding our customer base, building strong relationships, and driving revenue for our non-asset Full Truckload (FTL) brokerage operations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics sales, a proven ability to close deals, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. You will leverage your knowledge of freight brokerage and the transportation industry to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Acquisition :
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities to grow the customer base in your assigned market.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Relationship Management :
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and communication.
  • Sales Execution :
  • Conduct sales calls, in-person meetings, and presentations to close deals.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Market Knowledge :
  • Stay informed about market trends, freight rates, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights and solutions to clients based on market conditions.
  • Reporting & Analysis :
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer feedback.
  • Utilize CRM tools and other technology to manage sales activities and customer interactions.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in freight brokerage or logistics sales, with a focus on FTL transportation.
  • Strong understanding of the transportation industry, including market dynamics and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
