Job Title: Business Development Manager โ€“ Liquid Solutions Division (Including Dry Liquids)


Location: Houston, Texas


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Liquid Solutions Division in Houston, specializing in bulk liquids and dry liquids logistics. This role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering innovative logistics solutions tailored to the liquid transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, deep industry knowledge, and expertise in bulk and dry liquid logistics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to expand the companyโ€™s presence in the bulk and dry liquids logistics market in Houston and beyond.
  • Client Development: Identify, engage, and acquire new clients across industries such as chemicals, energy, food & beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Solutions Design: Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver customized logistics solutions for bulk liquids, dry liquids, and specialized storage and transportation needs.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Sales Management: Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements and safety standards for handling and transporting bulk and dry liquids.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster partnerships.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to senior management.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or a similar role within the bulk and dry liquids logistics industry.


Skills:

  • Proven ability to close high-value contracts and build long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of bulk and dry liquids logistics, including transportation and storage solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.


Location Expertise: Familiarity with the Houston market and its key industries.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing network in relevant sectors such as oil & gas, chemicals, or food production.
  • Experience with isotank logistics and multi-modal transportation solutions.
  • Knowledge of regional and global regulations for liquid logistics.
