My client is seeking a Business Development Manager β FTL Sales to drive new business growth and expand relationships with shippers across North America. This role is perfect for a results-driven professional who understands the domestic freight market and can leverage their network to provide reliable, cost-effective transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
β New Business Development β Identify and engage with shippers, manufacturers, and distributors to secure long-term partnerships.
β Account Growth β Expand relationships with existing clients by offering tailored full truckload solutions.
β Market Expertise β Stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and capacity challenges to provide customers with strategic insights.
β Collaboration β Work closely with carrier procurement, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution.
β Negotiation & Closing β Lead contract negotiations, manage pricing strategies, and secure profitable freight opportunities.
What Weβre Looking For
πΉ 3 years of FTL sales experience in a non-asset environment.
πΉ A strong book of business and industry connections with shippers.
πΉ Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
πΉ Deep understanding of the U.S. domestic trucking market, including spot vs. contract rates, carrier sourcing, and load planning.
πΉ Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
πΉ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
