Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Are you a Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up commercial construction? Our client, a leading Commercial General Contractor in Oklahoma, is looking for a highly skilled Superintendent to lead projects across Healthcare, Education, Municipal, Industrial, and Office sectors. This is an opportunity to join a well-respected firm with a strong pipeline of exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

🔹 Oversee all aspects of field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards

🔹 Lead on-site construction teams, managing subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel

🔹 Maintain strict safety compliance, enforcing OSHA standards and company safety policies

🔹 Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication

🔹 Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts to ensure project accuracy

🔹 Manage project scheduling, inspections, quality control, and problem resolution

🔹 Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, RFIs, and change orders

🔹 Ensure adherence to building codes, permits, and regulations

Requirements:

✔ 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects

✔ Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and subcontractors

✔ OSHA 30 certification preferred

✔ In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations

✔ Proficiency with construction software (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar)

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions

✔ Excellent communication and organizational skills
