Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise cost estimates based on project specifications, labor requirements, materials, and schedules.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Develop detailed reports and communicate project estimates to internal teams and clients.
- Stay informed on Houston market trends, material pricing, and local codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction estimating, ideally focused on heavy civil projects.
- Skilled in construction estimating software (such as ProEst, PlanSwift) and Excel.
- Knowledgeable about Houston’s construction costs, codes, and market dynamics.
