Junior Estimator – MEP (HVAC & Plumbing)

Our client, a leading contractor in Dallas, seeks a Junior Estimator to support cost analysis and bid preparation for MEP projects, including HVAC and plumbing. This role offers hands-on experience and career growth in mechanical estimating.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive bids.
- Analyze project specs, blueprints, and material/labor needs for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks.
- Maintain detailed estimate and bid documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of estimating experience, preferably in MEP (HVAC & plumbing).
- Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, Procore, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
