Elser Financial Planning, Inc is a fee-only, independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm. We serve as a fiduciary, providing comprehensive financial guidance and investment management services to our clients.
Position Overview:
The Client Service Associate/Trader provides critical support to the firm and our daily operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interface with advisors and other operations team members in a highly professional and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with custodial paperwork and processing of forms, including applications, new accounts, and account transfers
- Coordinate and track the new clients through the onboarding process
- Assist Senior Trader with management of client portfolios, including rebalancing and processing money movement requests, such as wire transfers/ACH distributions, family gifting, charitable gifting and other asset movement requests
- Monitor custodial transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and to ensure compliance with firm policies and/or industry regulations
- Be detail oriented and proactively seek to resolve any client or vendor issues or concerns.
- Leverage technology to generate client reports and organize client data consistently and efficiently
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the growth and development of the firm.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry; Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional “FPQP” designation and Series 65 (or equivalent) preferred
- Sound judgment and the ability to be proactive and decisive.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
