Elsevier’s Education division is the market leader in educational materials, both books and e-learning solutions, for students in the fields of Nursing & Health Professions.
About the Role
Elsevier is transforming into a data-driven enterprise. The Data Steward will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality data to support business decisions. This position involves working with customer and product data, defining data policies, and managing data governance within the Nursing & Health Education (NHE) department. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
Ensure the quality and consistency of data across systems.
Collaborate with data stewards and the data governance community.
Define and implement data policies.
Manage data governance processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with master data management and data governance.
Proven ability to create and implement data policies.
Experience leading data management initiatives.
Proficiency with data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Collibra).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI).
