POSITION SUMMARY :
This individual will design and / or manage a variety of infrastructure projects (owned by municipalities and local school districts). Such projects shall include roads, underground utilities, public buildings, recreational facilities, and land use applications submitted by private developers.
Position Description :
- Municipal client representation as Township or Borough engineer.
- Project management to review development plans for conformance with local ordinances, including subdivision and land development, zoning, grading, stormwater, escrow accounts, construction administration.
- Project engineering design for stormwater and detention basin, and infrastructure rehabilitation, various state and local permitting.
- Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, or material stress factors to determine design specifications.
- Technical writing of reports such as technical memos, feasibility studies, and engineering assessment and design reports.
- Construction support services, such as contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management.
- Prior experience with municipal account management in either a primary or backup role.
- Retention and development of Client relationships.
- Perform business development to help drive new business.
