Elville and Associates, P.C. is a leading estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning law firm with our headquarters in Columbia, Maryland and offices throughout central Maryland.
There is an opportunity for a Senior Paralegal to join our team at our headquarters, located in Columbia, who will have an integral role in growing and supporting our busy law practice – notably, supporting the firm’s CEO and Managing Principal Attorney.
The Senior Paralegal is vital to the firm’s success. This staff member must understand how to take care of specific situations related to clients’ trusts, necessary accountings, and specialized issues that arise.

Responsibilities for the Senior Paralegal position include but are not limited to:
o Trust Administration: Bill Payments; Client Communications; Property Management; Accountings; Complex Drafting; Coordination with outside council, Co-Trustees/Trust Protectors and other professionals; Tax Filings (document preparation), Entity Management (LLC tax filings); and Accounts Management
o Estate Administration: Work with attorneys and other team members to ensure taxes are filed; correspond with government agencies, i.e., IRS/Comptroller
o Estate Planning: Attend signing appointments as a notary/witness and lead signings in and out of office
o Administrative: Close files; In-office support for attorneys
