We are searching for an analytical, enthusiastic Auto Technician to help customers resolve issues with vehicle performance & functionality. The Auto Technician will speak to advisors about the performance & history of the customers vehicles, inspect mechanical & electronic components, diagnose issues, & discuss possible resolutions.

Auto Technician Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
to $ / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
Work with manager & other mechanics to diagnose & repair the mechanical & electrical components of vehicles
Listening to customers to learn more about vehicle history, potential problems, & the service they would like to receive
Performing test drives, inspections, & other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist & determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced
Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, & replacing brakes
Inspecting internal systems & controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly & in compliance with state regulations

Auto Technician Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional education, certifications or experience is generally preferred
Proven ability to diagnose & repair vehicles and follow safety instructions & directions
Proficiency with hand tools & other equipment
Excellent active listening, problem solving, & communication skills
Self-motivated, independent, & reliable with a strong work ethic
Drivers license in good standing
Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
