Buyer Details :

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
  • Utilize ERP system to determine current material availability or anticipated date of receipt
  • Ensure required materials are present prior to releasing job orders to production
  • Process the Material Planner Workbench daily for engineering releases, customer orders and stock replenishment
  • Purchase commercial and non-commercial parts and other operating supplies and / or services in a timely manner to support the manufacturing of finished goods and new product development.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain information concerning product, negotiated price, ability, and validation of vendor to provide product or service and delivery date.
  • Track and manage daily on-time delivery and vendor quality, including quarterly reporting and qualifications.

    • Buyer Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field (typically 1-3 years for entry-level, 3-5 years for mid-level positions).
  • Familiarity with sourcing, negotiating with vendors, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills : Ability to secure the best prices, terms, and deals.
  • Analytical skills : Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and product quality to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Attention to detail : Ensuring accurate orders and tracking of inventory.
  • Time management : Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and orders.
  • Communication skills : Ability to clearly communicate with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
