Cheese Lab Technician Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
First Shift (Sunday through Saturday from 05 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
Assists with performing aseptic in-process sampling for each batch of production.
Assists with effectively tracking sampling from multiple plants simultaneously.
Read, study, understand and implement published lab procedures and tasks. As new tasks are introduced, staff may be asked to take a written procedure and perform testing with little input.
Work closely with operations and take the initiative to act on any changes or upsets in production.
Must follow instructions completely and in detail while working with minimal supervision.
Annual completion of OSHA required safety training.
Responsible for maintaining laboratory supplies
Help coach and train teammates and participate in on the job, buddy training.
Place high priority on food safety and sanitation by understanding and executing HCC’s food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Cheese Lab Technician Qualifications :
English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Must be open to working weekends, holidays and rotating shifts (day / swing / graveyard) and working overtime as required.
Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint at a basic level.
Ability to lift 45lbs
What Will Put You Ahead :
4 months experience in a laboratory or production setting
Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or related field
Applicant may be subject to a background check
