Coater / Painter Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
Prepare parts and materials for coating as required.
Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems.
Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
Determine paint flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using quality control instruments and methods.
Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations.
Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash and pretreatments.
Ensure that all components are produced / coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures.
Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Operate loading and unloading equipment (fork truck, pallet jack, hand, etc.) in a safe and responsible manner.
Coater / Painter Qualifications :
Strong background in powder coating and industrial painting.
Able to work in a fast pace environment Demonstrate ability to work independently without daily supervision.
Strong attention to detail.
Two years minimum experience and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma or GED preferred and / or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift operating experience preferred.
