Elevator Operator Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday)
Job duties primarily consist of general maintenance and housekeeping duties. Responsibilities include inside and outside of the elevator. During busy periods, will also open hoppers on grain trailers and railcars and keep the dump area clear of grain.
Cleaning inside and outside of the elevator using a shovel, broom, mop, or other tools.
Pump water at various locations.
Assist with loading / unloading trucks.
Assist with loading / unloading railcars.
Required to clean out grain bins.
Keep elevator grounds free of debris and organized.
May assist with grain handling. Responsible for mowing grass and trimming with weed eater as needed.
Responsible for the maintenance of mowers and weed trimmers.
May be asked to use a hand sprayer to spray for bugs and mix the insecticide according to directions provided.
Punctual and regular attendance is an essential job function
Elevator Operator Qualifications :
Must have thorough housekeeping skills Self-motivated
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to effectively communicate information to supervisor and management
Great work ethic
Must be mechanically inclined Possess a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
Must be trustworthy, dependable and ethical.
Must have knowledge of and understand the personnel and safety policies of the company.
