Freight Order Processor
To efficiently pick, pack, scan and ship the orders as reflected on the stockroom order pick slips or by using a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner.

Freight Order Processor Details :
Temporary position
hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Thursday)
Pick product from the stockroom locations using RF Scanner
Place products in proper shipping containers using designated procedures
Place enclosed orders on conveyor belt to be scanned & assigned to the designated shipping provider
Completes filling orders that have been staged coming from the warehouse
Place completed orders on pallets & moves pallets to a freight scanning station for larger orders
Assemble shipping containers by method of stapling and / or taping
Validate Wal-mart, TSA, UPS & FedEx orders & product using the PC based program with handheld bar code scanner device to verify items & quantities are correct
Retrieve or communicate to order pickers for retrieval of any missing or miss-picked product
Place shipping label on shipping container according to customer requirements
Prepare containers for shipment using proper procedures
Operate the Clipper station to manifest UPS or FedEx packages
Order additional finished goods from the warehouse & stocks them in the proper locations
Process returned goods. Transact items from put-away to stockroom location, physically move the items to the proper locations
Other duties as assigned by team lead and / or the manager
Freight Order Processor Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic math skills required
Must be proficient in English language comprehension
Follow basic verbal or written instructions
Be able to maintain shipping & stockroom location records
Must have or be wiling & able to learn basic PC skills & RF system & Oracle system responsibilities
Able to walk, stand & move for the length of the shift
Lift up to 50 lbs
Must have good visual acuity & good manual dexterity
Able to bend, stoop, twist to remove and / or place product on skids
Must be physically able to work in a large distribution & warehouse facility
Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
